Chiropractic adjustments are a very satisfying way to quickly release stress from your body and restore normal range of motion to your joints. Properly applied Chiropractic adjustments can also instantly relax muscles in the surrounding areas.
Dr. Vroom primarily applies the Diversified Technique and also uses the Activator adjusting instrument for those clients who prefer this more gentle method.
Stretching is a perfect complementary therapy to relieve muscle tension and it also allows Chiropractic adjustments to happen smoothly and easily without feeling forced.
Commonly known as "knots", trigger points can develop in muscles and cause pain and dysfunction right where they are or refer pain to other locations. Trigger point therapy can release the associated pain and reduce the size of these "knots" and restore much needed function to the muscle. Sometimes Dr. Vroom will use percussion massagers to smooth out trigger points.
Cupping is a very powerful therapy for your muscles. It can rapidly reduce tension and "knots" in the muscles and fascia of your body, and restore much needed blood flow to injured areas to help them heal.
Commonly known as E-Stim, electrical stimulation puts a safe amount of electrical current into your muscles using soft pads that are applied to your skin overlying the intended muscle. This causes the muscle to contract over and over, essentially tiring it out so that it will then relax.
Dr. Vroom may choose to perform any of these therapies during your visit. However, neither Cupping or E-stim can be performed during the appointment type 'The Short One'.
